How often do I need to service my vehicle?
This should be in line with the manufacturer’s guidance; however we also recommend that every vehicle is serviced annually regardless of mileage to prevent sludge formation and inspect the vehicle for defects. No service interval should be greater than 12000 miles. On 4×4’s oil contamination is also a factor, and oil with evidence of contamination, especially water, should have their oils changed immediately.
What is included in your Chassis replacement service?
The most common cause of 4×4 mot failure is chassis corrosion, suspension bushes, and decayed brake lines.
All our chassis replacements have their suspension arms removed, shot blasted, powder coated, and poly bushed. All the brake pipes and hoses are replaced included in the price. This means that apart from wear and tear consumables like brakes, bearings, and bulbs, the vehicle will fly through the yearly mot test for years to come and drive as good if not better than new. After a rebuild, every chassis nut and bolt is torqued and marked with paint; the vehicle is independently MOT tested before being handed back to the owner. We then invite the owners back for a free check over after 500 miles. This is NOT a bolt-on, bolt off of rust components in a weekend service, but our pride and joy!
Do you provide a breakdown/recovery service?
We liase with a number of Recovery companies if we cant help you where you are. We are also a VAT registered garage which means if you have a National type of Breakdown recovery that they will recover you to us for repairs to be carried out.
Are you available 24/7?
We are a family run company and work Monday to Friday daytime. We are also available most Saturdays and out of hour appointments available on request. If it is a general enquiry out of hours please feel free to message via phone, email, Facebook. If it is an emergency please don’t hesitate to call 24/7.
